During his active service with Berlin Brigade, he belonged to Alpha Company, 6th Bn, 502nd Infantry as M60 gunner. Among other chores he served at the Berlin-Spandau War Criminal prison. Together with his platoon he participated in the acitivities of the German-American Volksfest (Broadway in Berlin). After his service in Berlin he was a member of the 197th Infantry Brigade, Fort Benning, which in the frame of Reforger exercises again was sent to Germany. After the end of his active service he studied in America, finalizing this with an MBA Degree in IT-Management . Presently he is employed by the State of Texas, where he works as computer analyst. In the year 1997 he successfully launched the well known internet page (www.berlinbrigade.com) for the benefit of Berlin Veterans. This page meanwhile has become a real Berlin institution on the history of Berlin Brigade.
